Öğe Determination of spin and parity of D(s)? mesons(Elsevier B.V., 2023) Ablikim, M.; Achasov, M.N.; Adlarson, P.; Aliberti, R.; Amoroso, A.; An, M.R.; Çetin, Serkant AliThe spin and parity of the charmed mesons Ds?+, D?0 and D?+ are determined for the first time to be JP=1? with significances greater than 10? over other hypotheses of 2+ and 3?, using an e+e? collision data sample with an integrated luminosity of 3.19 fb?1 collected by the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of 4.178 GeV. Different spin-parity hypotheses are tested via a helicity amplitude analysis of the processes e+e??Ds?+Ds?, D?0D0 and D?+D?, with Ds?+?Ds+?, D?0?D0?0, and D?+?D+?0. The results confirm the quark model predictions. © 2023 The Author(s)Öğe Erratum to: Measurement of ? transverse polarization in e + e ? collisions at s = 3.68 ? 3.71 GeV (Journal of High Energy Physics, (2023), 2023, 10, (81), 10.1007/JHEP10(2023)081)(Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH, 2023) Ablikim, M.; Achasov, M.N.; Adlarson, P.; Aliberti, R.; Amoroso, A.; An, M.R.; Çetin, Serkant Ali[No abstract available]Öğe Observation of a State X(2600) in the ?^{+}?^{-}?' System in the Process J/????^{+}?^{-}?'(NLM (Medline), 2022) Ablikim, M.; An, M.R.; Ahmed, S.; Bai, X.H.; Kolcu, Onur Buğra; Çetin, Serkant Ali; Shang, K. Y.; Shangguan, L.; Shi, H.; Schoenning, M.Based on (10087±44)×10^{6}??J/? events collected with the BESIII detector, the process J/????^{+}?^{-}?^{'} is studied using two largest decay channels of the ?^{'} meson, ?^{'}???^{+}?^{-} and ?^{'}???^{+}?^{-}, ????. A new resonance, which we denote as the X(2600), is observed with a statistical significance larger than 20? in the ?^{+}?^{-}?^{'} invariant mass spectrum, and it has a connection to a structure around 1.5??GeV/c^{2} in the ?^{+}?^{-} invariant mass spectrum. A simultaneous fit on the ?^{+}?^{-}?^{'} and ?^{+}?^{-} invariant mass spectra with the two ?^{'} decay modes indicates that the mass and width of the X(2600) state are 2618.3±2.0_{-1.4}^{+16.3}??MeV/c^{2} and 195±5_{-17}^{+26}??MeV, where the first uncertainties are statistical, and the second systematic.Öğe Partial wave analysis of J/? ??? ?(American Physical Society, 2022) Ablikim, M.; Achasov, M.N.; Adlarson, P.; Ahmed, S.; Albrecht, M.; Aliberti, R.; Amoroso, A.; An, M.R.; An, Q.; Bai, X.H.; Bai, Y.; Bakina, O.; Çetin, Serkant Ali; Kolcu, Onur BuğraUsing a sample of (10.09±0.04)×109 J/? events collected with the BESIII detector, a partial wave analysis of J/???? ? is performed. The masses and widths of the observed resonances and their branching fractions are reported. The main contribution is from J/???f0(2020) with f0(2020)?? ? , which is found with a significance of greater than 25?. The product branching fraction B(J/???f0(2020)) B(f0(2020)?? ? ) is measured to be (2.63±0.06(stat.)+0.31-0.46(syst.))×10-4. © 2022 American Physical Society. No obvious signals are found with the current statistics. The upper limits on the branching fractions for D0?p¯e+ and D0?pe- are set to be 1.2×10-6 and 2.2×10-6 at 90% confidence level, respectively. © 2022 authors. We investigate the two excited resonances, ?(1690)- and ?(1820)-, which are each observed with large significance (?10?) in the K-? invariant mass distributions. A partial wave analysis is performed, and the spin-parities of ?(1690)- and ?(1820)- are measured to be 12- and 32-, respectively. The masses, widths, and product branching fractions of ?(1690)- and ?(1820)- are also measured. © 2024 authors. Published by the American Physical Society. The dynamics of the Ds+?f0(980)e+?e decay are studied with the simple pole parametrization of the hadronic form factor and the Flatté formula describing the f0(980) in the differential decay rate, and the product of the form factor f+f0(0) and the c?s Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element |Vcs| is determined for the first time to be f+f0(0)|Vcs|=0.504±0.017stat±0.035syst. Furthermore, the decay Ds+?f0(500)e+?e is searched for the first time but no signal is found.
