C.Aliberti, R.Amoroso, A.Çetin, Serkant Ali2024-05-192024-05-1920241029-8479https://doi.org10.1007/JHEP01(2024)126https://hdl.handle.net/20.500.12713/4810Using (10087 +/- 44) x 10(6) J/psi events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII e(+)e(-) storage ring at the center-of-mass energy of root s = 3.097 GeV, we present a search for the rare semi-muonic charmonium decay J/psi -> D-mu(+)nu(mu) + c.c.. Since no significant signal is observed, we set an upper limit of the branching fraction to be B (J/psi -> D-mu(+)nu(mu) + c.c.) < 5.6 x 10(-7) at 90% confidence level.
