Özet
Bu çalışma hastalara kolonoskopi öncesi bağırsak hazırlığında uygulanan farklı protokollerin hastalarda uyum, tolerans ve konfor düzeyine etkisini karşılaştırmak amacı ile yapıldı. Adana ilinde bir üniversite hastanesinin endoskopi ünitesinde Mart-Temmuz 2020 tarihleri arasında polietilen glikol (PEG) (53) ve macrogol (53), sennoid+lavman (53) içeren üç farklı protokol 159 hastaya uygulandı. Veriler hastaların uyum, tolerans ve konfor düzeylerini sorgulayan "Kolonoskopi Veri Toplama Formu" ile toplandı. İstatiksel analizinde ki-kare, One-Way ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis, Post Hoc testleri kullanıldı.
This study was carried out to compare the effects of different protocols applied in bowel preparation before colonoscopy on compliance, tolerance and comfort levels in patients. Three different protocols including polyethylene glycol (53) and macrogol (53), sennoid + enema (53) were applied to 159 patients between March and July 2020 in the endoscopy unit of a university hospital in Adana. The data were collected using the "Colonoscopy Data Collection Form" questioning the patients' compliance, tolerance and comfort levels. The patients in the protocol group were found to have similar age, gender, educational status, smoking, chronic illness, drug use, and allergy except BMI (Body Mass Index) (p> 0.05). Before the procedure, it was determined that the sennoid + enema protocol fasting and fluid intake status (p = 0.045), compliance with the preparation protocols and the amount of drinking the solution were higher (p> 0.05). When the tolerance levels of the patients were examined, it was found that the nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and fatigue levels were found to be lower in patients who only underwent PEG protocol (p <0.05). When their efficiency in bowel cleansing was compared, no significant difference was found (p> 0.05). Although the comfort and compliance of the patients were similar after the procedure, it was found that the patients who underwent the sennoid + enema protocol needed more help (p <0.05). In the study, although the patients adapted better to the sennoid + enema protocol, it was found that the PEG protocol was partially superior in terms of tolerance and comfort
