Intrinsic and extrinsic factors lead to skin aging by both dynamic and static alterations in the facial region. Minimally invasive treatments have been popularized in recent years because of several factors such as minimal downtime, cost efficiency, and choice of convenient anesthesia. There are numerous options in minimally invasive treatments and in this chapter we will discuss the featured usage of each modality. Therefore, instead of explaining the minimal invasive techniques in accordance with subunits of the facial anatomy as upper, middle, and lower face as usually done in the literature, we review the methods according to the pathologies appearing in chronological order. © 2023 Elsevier Inc.
