The state of being attached to the past, which is in the nature of man, exists with the sensations descending into the lower memory of the people. At this point, individuals tend to connect with a concrete object bearing traces of the past. Retro furniture also serves as an important tool in establishing this bond. The study, which was intended to investigate the level of retro furniture awareness and trend in terms of age and gender variables, was conducted with 251 participants and found that 11 survey forms were not properly filled out during the processing of the data and analyses were conducted on 240 survey forms. The determined main mass consists of participants between the ages of 18-60, defined as the X, Y, Z generations, and can interact with retro furniture activities in Turkey. The study was carried out with unbiased sampling method. Statements in the study have been gathered in two dimensions: retro furniture awareness and retro furniture trend. It was observed that there are significant differences in some descriptive statistical values of both dimensions. There were significant differences between the gender variable of the participants and the awareness of retro furniture, but no significant difference was found between the tendency of retro furniture. It is thought that this finding can be considered as a source in determining the targeted audience in the promotion process of retro furniture. In the analyses applied to the age groups expressed as X, Y and Z for generation definitions, significant differences were found between the age variable and retro furniture trends. However, it was observed that there was no significant difference between the age variable and the awareness of retro furniture. In the light of these findings, it can be interpreted that the age variable affects the trends regarding retro furniture, but not the awareness level itself.en_US
