dc.description.abstractPURPOSE: Decreases in functional performance of people with COPD will ultimately lead to a sedentary life-style and decreased health status. The increase in disease severity,increasing symptoms, decreasing functional capacity cause a decrease in functional performance.The new GOLD2019 system for COPD severity assessment added chronic symptoms and exacerbation history to the degree of airflow obstruction by spirometry.
